Meet Ashley
Hi, I’m Ashley Kapostins, and I am running for NABIP Vice President.
I am an Owner and Managing Director of Kapsher Consulting LLC, bringing deep expertise in strategic consulting and industry leadership.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Central Florida and have spent nearly two decades shaping the insurance landscape.
Since 2007, I have worked in the individual and small group markets, across both the retail side and carrier segments. I previously served as National Sales Manager for Cigna Individual and Family Plans, where I led a national broker manager sales team, driving growth and engagement.
Beyond my professional career, NABIP is my passion—I have dedicated years to strengthening the organization at every level.

A Future Built Together
We’ve entered a new era at NABIP—a rebrand, a new CEO, and a fresh identity. But we haven’t fully defined what that means for every level of leadership, every member, and every chapter. Now is the time to harness this momentum and shape an organization that is more strategic, more connected, and more forward-thinking than ever before.
Attracting and retaining members with meaningful, relevant value
Breaking down silos between committees, leadership, and staff to foster collaboration
Strengthening transparency and trust to drive proactive leadership
Building infrastructure and leveraging new technologies like AI to advance our goals
Embedding our guiding principles—our “Bill of Rights”—into everything we do
My leadership philosophy is simple but powerful: Listen first. Collaborate always. Lead with vision.
I could sit here all-day listing goals (trust me, my brain is overflowing with them). But the reality is, leading NABIP isn’t about one person or one vision—it’s about collaborating as a team, listening, learning, and making smart, strategic decisions together. If elected VP, I’d join an incredible group of 18 board members—each bringing their own expertise, passion, and perspective.
We are in a moment—where bold, thoughtful leadership can set the foundation for years to come. And I’m ready to put in the work to make NABIP stronger, more connected, and more prepared for the future than ever before.
